Very Rare Tennessee Flat Top 1 Made by the Dobro icon Tut Taylor and his son Mark.
This was made throughout the shift when Tut turned over manufacturing to his Son Mark Taylor.
Tut was a well-known flat picker on dobro. He built top notch resonator guitars and bluegrass banjos.
Really high-end and quality instruments. The Herringbone scalloped HD-28 format guitars were called.
Tennessee when Tut was the king pin of the company. In 1977 Mark took over business and made instruments under the name Crafters Of Tennessee. Simply excellent old Made In The USA. This guitar will hold its own in the bluegrass field. Proud and loud with deep low end bass slice and sustain that lasts for ever.
